Gorillas in the Mist
A movie direted by Michael Apted about the desicion of Dian Fossey, who stays in Africa to study the life of the gorillas of the mountain, which are few left because hunters kill them.

The desicion of Dian was to stay to protect and take care of these gorilas. It shows how she builds a habitat for these animals and she becomes famous for her documentaries and Digit, the dominant gorilla, recorded by The National Geographic. But unlukily, Digit got shot and killed by the hunters which causes the zoologist a huge shock and her anger with those cruel people that killed her friend increased. 
Related to the main subject that has given to me, the title of the film is called like that because of the species of the gorilla. These gorillas are the mountain gorillas, which live on the moutains of Africa. The weather of these mountains is not quite good, because of the cold and the mist, from there the title.

This film is based on real facts that happened in Dian Fossey's life and were recorded in Rwanda and Kenya.Gorillas in the Mist recived many awards like the Golden Globe in 1989, the best music and best drama actress, the Golden Real Award in 1989 to the best sound montage, the Genesis Award in 1990 and it was nominated to an Oscar Award to the best main actress, best montage, best original soundtrack and the best adapted script.

Self assessment and conclusion:
Despite of what I said in my last self assessment, I've heard about this extraodinary woman and the incredible things she did so when I saw what was this part of my subject about, I really looked forward to enjoy it. I totally recomend to watch this movie if you want to know more about gorillas and the story of this wonderful woman.
